Mayor

Mayor's Welcome

It is a pleasure to welcome you to Wilson County and our community. I hope you take the opportunity to explore our site and see what a great county we have. I’ve always called Wilson County home and I know if you have the opportunity to visit or relocate you will see why we are so proud of our native roots.

We are centrally located to the east of Nashville in the southeastern portion of the United States. Wilson County is located within 650 miles of 75% of all markets. We are home to the famous Cracker Barrel Headquarters, the Wilson County Fair, and many other well-known places. Our county consists of three vibrant cities, Lebanon, Mt. Juliet, and Watertown. Each has their own uniqueness that creates picturesque living.

Our industry force is booming and white-collar jobs are becoming more prevalent in the area. We are blessed with Vanderbilt Wilson County Hospital which is a leading medical facility in the area and also to have Cumberland University, a strong liberal arts school with a rich heritage. Our community is prized among great history, shopping, and outdoor activities. The Wilson County education system is among the top in the state and we have a wonderful public safety program in place for all of our citizens.

As County Mayor, I work hard at providing great service to each of our citizens and visitors. As you can see we have a lot to offer and I welcome your interest and curiosity to our community and discovering that "Wilson County is the Place To Be."
