Thanks to Wilson Bank and Trust and Kay Maynard/State Farm - LHS Home Basketball Games will Air On WCTV Starting in December

We are pleased to announce Wilson Bank & Trust and Kay Maynard/State Farm have agreed to sponsor select home games of the 2020 - 2021 season.

WCTV is partnering again with the audio/visual department at Lebanon High School. Thanks to insturctor Alysha Nix and her team of students which inclcudes commentators. The games will be LIVE on the department's Facebook page and encore presentations will air on WCTV.

The games to be broadcast are:

December 1 vs Gallatin

December 11 vs Hendersonville

December 15 vs Mt. Juliet

January 19 vs Wilson Central

January 22 vs Portland

February 5 vs. Beech

February vs Green Hill

February 22 vs Station Camp

(these are District games)

 

WCTV will be LIVE again this year the Mt. Juliet Christmas Parade which is set for Saturday, December 12th at 11am. We will also air encore presentaions of the Lebanon and Watertown parades.

 

Wilson County Television is Wilson County's Public, Education and Government (PEG) channel.

You can watch WCTV on Charter/Spectrum Channel 198, on AT&T U-Verse Channel 99 and streaming via TwitchTV.

WCTV provides live coverage of the Wilson County Commission Meetings and the City of Lebanon City Council Meetings. We air recordings of the following meetings: Wilson County Commission's Budget and Education, City of Mt. Juliet Board of Commissioners and Planning Meetings, City of Lebanon Sidewalk, Bike and Trail, Historic Lebanon, Lebanon Regional Planning, Lebanon Board of Zoning Appeals and Lebanon Forward. 

We are honored to partner with Lebanon High School and Mt. Juliet High School to bring our viewers their student run newscasts which will resume when schools starts back.

In addition to the meetings, WCTV produces two programs, Walking Through Wilson and Talkin' With Tatum. 

WTW is a public affairs program hosted by former television producer/reporter Becky Andrews.

TWT is an interview program hosted by Wilson County Judge Barry Tatum.

WCTV produces informational videos for various county departments including public service announcements regarding issues that are of interest to our residents.

WCTV airs these Tennessee-based programs Wildcast, Drop the Tailgate,  Did you Know?, Tackle Tips and Tennessee Outdoor Journal from the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency, Tennessee's Wildside from Rock Water, LLC, Songspeak and Out of the Blue from Middle Tennessee State University and 3 minute videos from the Univerity of Tennessee Agriculture Institute (UTAI) reported by Wilson County native, Charles Denney.

In addition to local programs, viewers can watch a variety of shows produced by other PEG Channels/independent producers including: Two for the Road, Sidewalks Entertainment, Calvin's Corner, Yoga for Your Health, Eat Well - Be Happy, NASA 360, Remembering When and many more.

WCTV is partnering with Blue Devil Broadcasting to broadcast LIVE on their Facebook page the Lebanon High School football games and Coach's Night Out, a sports talk show hosted by voice of the Blue Devils, Tommy Bryan. Encore presentations of the talk-show air on WCTV Thursdays at 8:30pm and weekends at 10am. The games air weekends at noon.

WCTV will partner again this season with the LHS audio/visual department to bring encore presenations of select home basketball games. We are proud to announce the games are being underwritten by: Wilson Bank & Trust.
